Wanilog is a free, independently operated hobby project. It is provided as-is, with no guarantees, and is not affiliated with WaniKani.

Wanilog is provided as-is and without warranty of any kind, express or implied. WaniKani updates its API, browsers change behaviour, and projections are statistical estimates. Nothing here is guaranteed to be available, accurate, or backed up. For anything you cannot afford to be wrong, verify at wanikani.com.

Wanilog is an independent third-party client. It is not built, endorsed, or supported by Tofugu LLC or the WaniKani team. The WaniKani name, mascot, and content belong to them. Wanilog interacts with their public API using the personal access token you provide.

• Use Wanilog with your own WaniKani account. Do not submit a personal access token that does not belong to you.
• Wanilog applies its own rate limiting when calling the WaniKani API. Do not circumvent it through automation or scripted use.
• Do not use Wanilog to harass others or in any way that breaks applicable law in your jurisdiction.
• Your use of WaniKani's API through Wanilog remains subject to WaniKani's own terms.

Your WaniKani API key is stored locally in your browser. If you use Wanilog on a shared device, anyone with access to that browser session can read your progress. Logging out, or clearing site data, removes the key.

Wanilog may change, remove features, or be discontinued at any time without notice. If the service is discontinued, your data remains on your own device and with WaniKani; no private copy is retained elsewhere.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wanilog and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the application. Wanilog provides forecasts and statistics derived from your WaniKani data; decisions you make based on them are your own.
